3 hr Mini Workshop on Social Graces
Universal Code of Conduct
This workshop will cover the basics of first impression; posture, formal and informal stance, sitting, and how to properly enter or exit a room through a door. The workshop will also include introductions, wardrobe and basic table manners.
Everyone will be asked to participate and I will ask for volunteers to demonstrate other lessons. Those that volunteer will be video taped to see what others see as their first impression and be able to correct themselves after seeing the video.

We will also contrast and practice runway modeling walk and pivots to everyday walking as well as table setting, table manners, and utensil usage while eating our snacks.

3 Day Modeling and Social Graces Workshop “Grace’s Kids”
Maximum 20 students
For children and teens (co-ed), there are no requirements such as dress size, height or how cute you are.
- 3 days 2 hours a day the students learn runway modeling, which will teach posture, modeling and proper walking, public speaking, public social graces, basic wardrobe, handling of wardrobe, proper sitting, climbing stairs, and much more.
- 4rd day is the fashion show and the High Tea. This is when the students show what they have learned.
Here are two suggestions on how to handle the finale.
1. We can just have a fashion show only for the family and friends for free and no food served. We can make a nice stage and runway. The audience can sit and watch the performance. The entertainment will be provided by the students modeling their own clothes (when possible from the local department store) and show what they have learned; and we will show the video of the students practicing their social graces.
2. Or, we could have a High Tea Party and Fashion Show and charge a fee for the Party. The High Tea can be very simple with some small sandwiches, and small deserts, tea, hot chocolate and coffee. If you have China cups and saucers and a pretty decorated tables you will be able to get a higher fee. I am available for consultation on the planning of the High Tea at no charge.
