Teo Graca - Mini Autobiography

Submitted by Teo Graca

My Background 1984-1996:

I studied music and computer science in college and had some video production experience in high school. Although I started my career as a performing musician (bassist) and composer, I also created a sound production company providing sound production for others. In 1987 I set up a music studio and produced and published music for others. I also worked as a copy writer, journalist, assistant editor and editor for several publications.

My Background 1992-1996:

Although busy with music, I had been moving more into video production, publishing and writing. I quit performing music in 1993 after investing in three additional businesses - a photo lab, copy shop and a video production company. My music production studio functioned through 1996, but I liquidated it later that year as our main studio manager moved to Seattle. I had been working with BBS (Bulletin Board Systems - the precursor to the Internet) since the late 80's and finally built my first website in 1994. I soon found a new career developing websites and Internet applications. By the end of 1996, I had sold all of my business interests and moved into programming full time.

My Background 1996-2006:

I worked as a consultant through the late 90's and through 2006 for Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 companies, government, telecommunications and a few small businesses building and designing information systems using all of the latest technologies as soon as they came out. I have watched the Internet go from being nothing (nobody used it in 1994) to something everybody uses today. It's been difficult keeping up with the changes and best practices, but that has been my focus for over a dozen years.

Today:

My current projects include the Net-Teams hosted information systems, which I personally designed and helped build. All of our companies use these systems to provide a high-quality content management, relationship management and business-to-business networking.

We have since expanded the functionality to include scheduling, billing, inventory, marketing and many other features that have been broken into separate applications so that we can quickly build custom applications for our customers. Our core technologies are:

We are currently adding functionality to work with other websites and web applications. To date, we have implemented integrations with PayPal, Google, aWeber, FaceBook, iPhone, T-Mobile, AT&T, FEDEX, Yahoo! and many other applications, and are continuing to expand into many other areas, yet the Net-Teams core application is at the center of them all and provides shared data over multiple domains -  this is rare in systems that are currently available and provides features like single sign on, viral marketing and collaborative conveniences.

If you have an application you would like developed, please give me a call at 1-866-267-2494 x3 to discuss it. We have a great team of developers and we can get your project done quickly and under budget. My personal portfolio is available here.
